Tissue Salts and their uses
Tissue salts belong to a branch of medicine known as biochemistry which was developed by Dr. Wilhelm Heinrich Schuessler.
Schuessler discovered twelve mineral salts which are very important for the functioning of the human body. He recognized them as the material basis of the organs and also identified these twelve tissue salts in every cell body.
He theorized that these twelve salts were responsible for the harmonious functioning of the body and a deficiency of any could affect cellular metabolism giving rise to chronic ailments.
Tissue salts are derived from inorganic mineral substances such as those that compose our earth and its soil, and can be derived from plants also.
These minerals are made into pills following the principles of homeopathy which makes the active ingredient extremely dilute. Because of their dilute nature side effects are highly unlikely, therefore there is no harm with overdosing as the body excretes any surplus.
Conditions treated with tissue salts include:
Muscle weakness, damaged muscles tendons, bones and ligaments repair, backache, poor circulation, varicose veins, spasms, fatigue, insomnia, inflammation, cramps, shingles, itching, headaches, nausea, nervous system problems, menstruation issues, bleeding issues, anemia, slow healing wounds, skin disorders, acne, ulcers and any kind of stress, depression or anxiety.
